Great place have picnic shelter by water great food by strikers
I have been to Chestnut Ridge Park many times...how I did not know that this place existed, is beyond me! The cabin is lovely, with a nice porch facing the picturesque pond. There are bathrooms in the cabin, and plenty of picnic tables inside and out. There is a foot trail that goes all the way around the pond, so you can enjoy it from every viewpoint. It is a beautiful, peaceful, hidden away gem!

Beautiful day at the park, nice cabin for gatherings once you get there ! Terrible signage and maps provided by the town. Also park entrance closed more than an hour before it was supposed to have without notice.
