Went to renew my passport. Learned you now have to make an appointment, however the 2 o'clock cancelled and Cindy took care of me. Made the process easy and painless. Thanks so much!
I have found that the service is great as long as the employees are not overly stressed. Their work load is at times beyond their capacity when some of them may become frustrated.
Terrible! I went to get passports for my family of 5. I chose this location because they have photos on site. We got in line and after a few minutes one of the representatives shouted from behind the counter to me "Are you here for Passports?" in return I answered yes and was told abruptly that they weren't doing those today and to come back tomorrow at 8:30. I was clearly confused because I was there with plenty of time to complete the task (3:00 in the afternoon). She then asked me if we needed photos as well to which I answered yes. After having a side conversation with her coworker, she instructed me to go to another local retailer, get photos taken, and return with the photos and she would then process the passports. So that is exactly what I did. We then returned to the post office(3:40, again family of 5, kids 4,6, and 8), got back in line, and waited for our turn. The representative looked at me and then said that she wasn't going to process the passports today, because they were understaffed, and that I had to go to another office. I was clearly annoyed at this point because I had done exactly what I was instructed to do, by her, and then was turned away, again! She then told me that the East Aurora office would process them until 4:00 pm, it was now 3:45. So we headed there, and that is a whole other story. My takeaway is that the two employees that were at the counter at the Orchard park office were extremely rude and their demeanor was the opposite of good. The customer service was atrocious! I understand that they may have been short handed that day but the tone and demeanor of the employees was inexcusable. It could have been handled very differently.
I went to the orchard park location to get a passport. They process them until 12pm on Saturdays . I arrived at 11:50 not knowing they only process passports until then I thought it was 1pm because that's when they close. I'm standing in line and there like 10 people ahead of me and someone at the counter is getting their passports done( a family of 5). The worker yells to me " if you are here for a passport you will have to come back we stop processing them at 12" It's 12:03 now. So I go to the manager and said I been in line before 12 and she just yelled she can't take me. He says" sorry but we stop at 12 and we have to take people in order that them come" I proceeded to tell him I was here before 12 the line is long theres only 2 people working. He told me there's nothing he can do. What a joke. I was the only other person there getting a passport she could of took me when she was done with the first family. So much for customer service.
I had an issue with a package delivery. It was addressed immediately. Very happy with the way it was handled.
