On Sunday July 2nd she sustained a very serious facial injury after an accident although I live in Springville my vet whom was out of town insisted that OPVMC is where we take her. I am so glad he did, the compassion of everyone there, the thouroughness and patients of each doctor I came in contact with answering all our questions and the overall experience is unexplainable. Dr. Kloc performed her surgery and did a phenomenal job, and continued his dedication through her follow up needs. Pipers reaction when she came back for follow ups spoke volumes on how well she was cared for there. They truly made this horribly traumatic experience much better, I can not thank them enough.

If you are still reading this, you can see I am passionate about how well my dog was cared for by everyone at OPVMC so onto another topic full of passion. The injury my beautiful pup sustained was human error, we didn't realize it at the time and if reading this prevents you from making the same mistake then I have done my job! Piper and our other dogs often ride on a off road vehicle (JD Gator) with us sitting as we thought safely in the front between our legs. We had just taken off and were not accelerating yet, her leash became loose and went under the tire pulling her out. She was lucky to not have any internal injuries or structural damage. Although her facial injury was scary and serious it could have been a lot worse. This was something we did so often so of course we never thought something like this could happen, but it did. So please be careful and be aware.
