Had a possible meniscus tear in my knee and they helped me very fast got me into physical therapy so I can use me knee again
UPDATE:
Dr. Guerske-dePerio is a gem! After seeing another surgeon that wanted to jump straight to surgery without even doing an MRI first, Dr. G told me exactly why she disagreed with the first opinion based on my symptoms, what likely had caused my injury in the first place and why it was progressively getting worse despite a clean prior MRI and xrays. She took a new MRI and sure enough I had fluid galore which she said indicated a tear she thought was the tendon along my ankle bone due to being unable to see it on the MRI. Also, the tear the first surgeon said I surely had was nowhere on the MRI! I elected to do surgery to clear the fluid and scar tissue and check for a tear where she said-- having already tried almost a year of PT to no avail. She was right. Not one but 2 tendon tears--one likely dating back to high school, the second more recent. She is phenomenal. Surgery went amazing, everything as expected and she did great. No nerve damage whatsoever even though she had to work right along a major nerve. Would recommend her to anyone! Her bedside manner is great too. Great surgeon!

My Daughter Kelsey Drummond went thru alot of phsical training and rehab thru UB Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and they were fantastic. My daughter was injured in June of 2012 and was operated on in July for ACL reconstruction and played April 1, 2013 in North Myrtle Beach, SC against Dorchester NC and was 2-3 with 2 doubles. She also received a Scholarship with Mercyhurst University North East . This would not have been possible without there help from the surgery to the final days of Performance Training. They work you hard but you get the results you need. Put all your faith in them they are wonderful.
Excellent!!!!!
Recently fxd my elbow have been there before in the older office this was my first experience at the new office. The new office is beautiful I must say and the way it is set up patients get taken in much quicker, that is a welcome change. My problem wasn't the speed of service it was the loud reception one in particular not the first one that I was checked in with the second one that took my paper work, apparently when I was at immediate care the paper work they gave me was incomplete so the first receptionist crossed off what I had already filled in and had me fill in the rest. The second receptionist who took my paperwork was rude and complained because she didn't know how to scan it in when it was like that. She said and I quote I would have just made them fill out another one she was also complaining about how much work it was to do that loud enough for me to hear and that's a waist of paper and too much work for her to copy it so it could be scanned correctly. Seriously? When I got called to go in the back as I walked by the desk she must have thought I was going to ask her something she just pointed to where I was supposed to go didn't say a word. What ever happened to taking a patient where they are supposed to go? Then I get to where I'm going and was greeted by a friendly young man there was a young lady on the phone, one of your patients must have said to have a blessed day and when she hung up she was mocking that, that's a compliment and it should be taken as such. My thought is this keep your comments to yourself in an open area where people can hear we are patients looking to be healed not to be mocked or criticized and if the paperwork from immediate care is not the complete packet how about calling them and fixing the problem. The first receptionist was just trying to make it easier for me there was no need for all that other bologny. People tend to remember rude over nice that young lady needs to be alittle more conciderate of the pain other people are in, going that little bit of an extra mile sometimes means alot when someone is in alot of pain. Specialty care is not cheap respect goes along way. I am sure immediate care sends alot of patients your way so why not fix the problem instead of complaining about the work it created.
I was so happy that some one called about this and they promised to take care of it. It means alot to me as a patient there. Sometimes just knowing someone cares about your privacy and overall experience goes along way thank you so much!
Thanks
